I thought I would bring this film up because it is tipped for an oscar nod and I'm yet to hear a word of it from anyone. I personally doubt that anything Oscar like will go near it but I am interested to hear if anyone has seen it or is planning to. I saw it about two months ago and thought it was very well made and the material well handled.

I haven't seen it, but it won nearly every award here in Australia (AFI's) - i think all except for costume, which went to Moulin Rouge: fair dinkum i guess. BTW i thought Moulin Rouge was totally overrated and was glad it was beat out! Hopefully America will have as much good taste as Australia does!
