How to remove sharpie from top of DVD disc?

I just picked up some cheap dvds yesterday, LOTR Two Towers 2 disc & Out of Time, both movies are great, but some dill hole wrote on the top of each disc with a black sharpie, is there anyway to safely remove the letters by using alcohol, goof off or something like that

any help would be apprecaited

There is this stuff I use at work called Penray's Spray Gum Solve. I'm not sure exactly what it's real purpose is, but it takes Sharpie marks off real easily. You could probably find it an auto parts store. I'm sure there's probably something else too, but I know this stuff works.

Careful, the above mentioned items sound as though they might take the printed graphics off of the Disc as well...

yeah i need something that wont fuck up the graphics on the dvd :)
