80's Pop Singer Laura Branigan dead at 47

I just learned about this from another site that 80's pop sensation Laura Branigan has passed away.... She may have not been no Britney or Christina but she always got me rockin w/ her tracks Gloria, and my personal favorite Self-Control....

Her music was dissed by so many people but she was one of the best singers of the 80s. Her cover of "Power of Love" was 100 X better than Celine Dion's. I loved all of her songs and still do. She was a pop singer with substance but just got drowned out by all the MTV-friendly singers and groups. R.I.P. :(
