Had an idea the other day, taken me this long to get over the mental shcok of it. Anyway, my idea was that we have an Off Topic forum, where we can talk about anything and everything we like! I've seen other chat sites like this one with similar areas to them. My girlfriend is part of an MGZR site and they have a good laugh on they're off topic bit. Anyone agree or am I just gonna be ignored for my stupidity?

On the Joblo boards you can talk music, politics, tv...
I think that's enough, I'd like the "Horror house" to stay horror oriented.

There used to be an off-topic forum way back in the day but practically every thread either ended in an argument or was simply an excuse for someone to raise their post count.

At the end of the day, this is JoBlo's MOVIE Club. The fact that you get Video Games / Sports / TV / Politics / Music forums is lucky enough.

I agree. But I also think that if an off-topic forum was operated in a similar way to the politics board then it could both work and be a lot of fun. The boards are great as they are though. It's the only site on the net that I visit every day without fail.

I like that Joblo strives to be better and different and that is has respect rules and zero tolerance for board wreckers. If I want to get off topic and crazy, I just go to the Big Brother chat room. I want this place to stay the same if It can, even though there are some who try to test the waters here on a regular basis and make it crappy.

As per our very bad experience with the "Off Topic" forum that was once on Joblo.com, we've decided that these boards would never, ever, have an off topic forum again. It was a freaking Zoo of a mess man!
