I was visting my brother at school today (he's a senior at Lehigh), and he needed some comforters for his room in the frat house. So we go, and after walking all around the mall I stumbled upon a cart marked "DVD DEALS". I thought nothing really of it, I don't like those dumb carts that are always sprinkled through out the mall, but as I walked away I noticed they were selling Asian DVD's. They were also playing "HERO" on the TV that was attached to their cart.

I came up and saw Battle Royale, Versus, Uzumaki, and a bunch of other stuff and I was overjoyed. All I really wanted though was Battle Royale 2, and when I was looking at 1 this lady came up behind me and said "YOU WANT THE ORIGINAL!? HERE'S THE ORIGINAL, IT'S GOOD. THE MORE DVD'S YOU BUY THE LESS IT COSTS!" I told her nicely I owned the original and I wanted the second. She told me 20$.

This is where it got weird. When I asked her if it was Region 1 she just mumbled "Yeah..uh---yeah region 1...yeah." This made me nervous. It came out to 21.50$ or so, I gave her 20 and a 5 and she suddenly dissapeared. I figured "she doesn't have my change so she'll just go get it." A minute goes by. Then 5. My mom starts getting mad. Right when were about to just leave she came up behind me and gave me change. With an extra dollar.

THE END.

The moral of the story: Thank god for those dumb little carts that you see in malls. Becuase without them I wouldn't be about to watch Battle Royale II.

So you got it! Excellent. I hope it's the DVD you can play (there are seven billion versions). Tell me what you thought. 8/10.

Looks like that minus the Japaneese writing above "This time it's war." Of all the Region 1 Battle Royale II's on DVD Aficiocando (sp?), this isn't on there.

But whatever, the movie worked!

**Also minus the Japaneese above the BR logo, "Battle Royale II".

Good. Of course, it has NOTHING on BR. Still a good watch, a little long, with too many sappy flashback scenes.

The "6 billions ways of peace" speech was very very very good. Most likely 7.5 or 8 out of 10.

I have a question NightCrawler...

****SPOILERS****

Why the fuck did the teacher:

A) Chew on all those pills in that one scene, like all the whit shit was running out of his mouth...

B) Why'd he have the necklace anyway...I saw it as just a lame attempt at a plot twist.

END

Uh oh . . . I'm not sure I remember the context but I think you're referring to the teacher's death scene in the end. I interpreted as the teacher "joining" the kid's BRII war. It was some sort of suicide thingy there. I'll need to rewatch it.

SPOILERS*********

It's revealed very early in, the teacher unzips his slicker down a little revealing the necklace...now that I think about it, is it becuase the Japaneese government wanted to keep him under control?

Oh! Right!! I remember that, well, your interpretation sounds rational.
