A Nightmare on Elm Street has an overlooked score helmed by Charles Bernstein who also contributed to my favorites The Entity and April Fool’s Day. The song played over the ending credits and after the Freddy nursery rhyme is “Nightmare” written by 213 exclusively for the film.

Since this was a thread about a music question, I thought I'd just add my question in here rather than start a whole new thread.
Anyways, a friend of mine was wondering this. In Nightmare On Elm Street 4, what is that song that's playing when Alice is standing in front of her mirror preparing to face Freddy?

"Don't Be Afraid of Your Dreams" by Go West.

Yes. However the actual song by Go West isn't quite the same as it is played in the movie. That whole awesome solo part isn't in the song which really aggravated me when I first heard it. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
