Title: Wild At Heart
Starring: Nicolas Cage
Released: 7th December 2004
SRP: $24.98

Further Details
MGM Home Entertainment has announced a special edition of David Lynch's Wild At Heart which stars Nicolas Cage, Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe and Crispin Glover. The film will be available to own from the 7th December this year, and should set you back around $24.98. As well as a new digitally remastered anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 track (both of which were supervised by Lynch), the disc will include a brand new thirty-minute making of documentary, an original promotional featurette, extended interviews with the cast and the director and sixty-five animated behind the scenes photos with music. I'm afraid that MGM has yet to release the official artwork, but we'll bring you that very shortly.

Lynch, eh? I have to see more Lynch. Wild at Heart is just another. Toss it up with Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and Dune.

David Lynch is one of my favorite directors. I taped this movie off of Encore a few days ago, but haven't watched it yet. I'll most likely pick it up though as I try to collect by director.

This is my favorite David Lynch's flick.
It will probably be on my Christmas list along with many others.

I love the Powermad clip that plays through the movie.

That's cool. I've had an R2 version for quite some time now, but maybe I'll replace it. Maybe.

Depends on how much money I have to blow that week.

I've never seen this but I plan on getting it when it comes out because I like Lynch's other stuff. I heard somewhere that there was a foreign DVD release of this that was a director's cut?

Amen to getting Lost Highway to DVD....

...but does anyone know if this edition of Wild at Heart is going to have chapter selections? David Lynch ranks high on my list of directors, but his annoying decision to leave off chapter skips on the Mulholland Drive DVD stumped me.

I doubt it will have chapter stops. Lynch has said that he prefers people to view his films in their entirety.

Thanks...

That's David Lynch for you.....I'm still pushing for some chapter stops.

At least this disc has extras, as opposed to Mulholland Drive's bare bones release.
