YEAH YEAH YEEAAAH!
Thats right Scmoes...the best time of the year is approaching in less than 2 months.

Halloween, the time for the horror fans to rule the world. Spirits to conjure, Candy to eat, Parties to get blown at (by drugs or chicks), and graveyards to dig up. What are you gonna do for Halloween this year?:D

I suppose if I add "annoying children to slap/eat", it won't be appreciated ?
I think it will be like every halloween since it's been brought in France, watching an horror movie with the cat.
Yeah, I have no life either.

October is my favorite month. It finally cools off outside and there are lots of nifty things to do.

Like last year soon I will start turning my garage into "The Garage Of Terror" in a couple of weeks.
I live in a nice neighborhood with lots of children, and every Halloween I like to alienate my neighbors by scaring the crap out of their kids. No, really I make it where the little kids can get their candy without having to enter garage, and the parents loved it.
I did a pretty good job last year. People were coming back the day after Halloween to see it again.

This is what I had going on in my garage last year.

Black fabric hanging all the way around the garage.

The garage door was up, and pieces of black football jersey fabric hanged down over the opening. I could see out but they couldn't see in.

There was man I built laying on a table with the Alien chest buster coming out of it with lots of blood (that's important).

A skeleton that is the size of a small child swinging in a baby swing.

Another man I built sitting on my lawn mower with a scary mask. What was great about him was I had an oscillating fan motor in the head attached to a chord with a switch on the end. I would turn it on when people would look at it, and his head would turn an look right at them. It worked great.

I also had loud scary music, chain saw sound effects and cool green mini strobe lights.

About Mid-October it will be time to head down to Orlando again for Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights. Let me tell you. It's more fun than a barrel full of half-witted monkeys.

Since Halloween is on Sunday this year that means the whole weekend is a holiday pretty much. So, I'll probably throw a party too on Friday. All you with "no life" are invited.

Some where in there I will have a horror movie night.

Oh yeah! Octoberfest will be coming up too. Beer and Bratwurst equals good times!

I'll decorate the three acres I have and hold a haunted house in the shop on my land. Almost a giant barn. The cemetery across the street only adds to the illusion.

I'll probably go to a party or club as well.

Dance naked around the fire. Usual stuff.

I'm gonna go to a party, I live near a place that goes INSANE on Halloween, people flood the streets from dusk till dawn. And, I might dress up as Michael Myers this year, I was Freddy last year.

I will host my 5th annual haunted house, the Friday before Halloween, in my basement. it is like spongebods "garage of terror", but mine is much more elaborate(no offence, people have to pay to get into mine) and it has 5 or 6 actors(my friends) down there to scare people. I will have leatherface(with a real running chainsaw!!), michael myers, jason, 2 zombies and maybe one more other thing. I have spent around $1000 on props, masks costumes, strobe lights, fog machines, black lights,... over the past 5 years. I am proud to say that I have made at least 2 people cry and 5 people run back to the entrance at the beginning of the haunted basement every year.

I will also dress up like leatherface on Halloween and run around my neighborhood with a running chainsaw scaring the shit out of little kids, until the cops come.:D

Halloween is my second fav holiday next to Christmas.

The Friday before Halloween we have a party at the nursing home where I work. I have to dress up and this year I'm going as a jester because I have the hat and the makeup is already at work. I know it's not scary, usually I like to be pretty ghoulish, but I'm on a limited budget this year. We dress the residents up and play scary music.

I would love to go to a party this year but I probably will rent some horror DVDs and watch those. I don't get a lot of trick-or-treaters because I live next to three big housing developments and everyone goes up there.

Oh yeah, and I'll have to remember to turn on the police scanner and listen to see what pranks people are playing around town. :D

Halloween for me is usually a big gathering, since my wife and I and all are friends are huge horror buffs. My wife my friend and myself went as Otis, Baby, and Capt. Spalding from Ho1C last year and we're going to again this year, and go to my friends house who goes all out. He has been Leatherface for the past 8 years and every year gets better and better its great watching him chase people with a real chainsaw ( - the chain) and go out in the street and do his Leatherface "dance" he has down to perfection (you could put it up against Gunnar Henson and you couldn't tell the difference) then his friend goes as Grandpa (again has to perfection) then our other friends there make alot of thier own stuff and go as Myers and Kruger (with a real Kruger glove thats flawless) I'm going to take lots of pictures this year and maybe I can post them on here. Its always the most fun of the year.

I wish I knew people who go all out for a Halloween party. The ones mentioned in this thread seemed to be really fun.

This year I'm gonna go to the "Chiller Theatre Halloween Weeekend Extravaganza" in NJ. I went last year, that was my first horror convention, and when I go this year it'll be my fourth. (Yep already have been to 3 in less than a year!) I'm really excited because Ernie Hudson is gonna be there, and Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies. I doubt I'll get dressed up, but I'm sure it'll still be good times.

I love Halloween!! I think I'll dress up as a Super Trooper...

i usualy start celebrating Halloween in mid september. ill watch Horror movies, stay out all night with my friends, and visit scary sights around my house- also its a big thing in my County, to go "rolling" (or TPing, or Papering, or Toilet Papering, what ever you want to call it). me and four other boys are planning 2 massive jobs this year- one night, we will have 600 rolls of TP to use on 6 houses, and another night we are getting one person with 500 rolls......then ill spend the Friday before Halloween watching horror movie after horror movie with those same four friends, then on Halloween night, me and a bunch of other people will probably scare the neighborhood kids as they trick or treat, and then try to outdo last years Halloween pranks, and some time in there, ill probably go to a lameass party.......so yeah i have no life either really

Once the climate wussies turn off their air conditioning , i know the best time of the year , here in the Northeast , is upon us , Fall ( it's unbeatable ) and Winter ( way cool ) .

I love the cool breeze , the falling leaves , and the changing of nature's color sheme in fall . It's conducive to watching horror films . The winter is also great , with the freezing temps and snow ( hopefully ) , and the feeling of isolation . Plus , i know the summer junkies will be too cold to be outside , all snuggled on the treadmill at the local , hip gym , pussies .

What will i do for Halloween in particular ? Nothing planned as of yet , it all depends on a certin test i have to take soon . If all goes well , i hope to be in another country on vacation ( maybe England ) . If it doesnt go well , i guess i'll be watching Dawn 04 , Halloween 4 , and Dawn of the Dead 78 at home , which isn't the worst thing , not at all .

I would go to Chiller Theater , but only thing is , they charge too much just for autographs , and i hate travelling in NJ . No offense to the NJ shmoes , but that highway system is the worst in the country from my experience , godawful , and disorganized . And the topper , there are tolls every five feet it seems , freak that .

What day is Halloween on this year anyway?

Anyway, I'll probably run around my neighborhood rather drunk and disorderly screaming at kids and ranting on how the world is going to end, then skip like a fairy infront of the stage at the annual death metal concert. If my punk ass doesn't get murdered, I'll then be hanging out with my girlfriend watching Freddy VS Jason or Fried Green Tomatoes or something....

I am prepping! I have ordered my "costume" and it is in the mail as we speak. It's not really a costume though, it's just a top and a skirt from Hot Topic to go with the black, kick ass wings that I bought! Hells yeah, I'm a 'dark angel' this Halloweeny, it's Amy Lee-inspired. But yeah, I have a new plan. On Gate Night, I'm hitting the party circuit in my "costume" and on Halloween, we're going trick-or-treating and then watchin' flicks at my place. Should be a kick ass time! Wooo Halloween!

And every year, I add Halloweeny stuff to my room. This year, I have added a spider canopy that hangs lusiously over my bed and soon, I shall purchase something else. I just need money first.

I am going to dress up and hit the streets with a whole shitload of booze and see what happens. The little video store in my little area (greatest video store EVER) has a projector outside and plays movies on the wall of the building. Tons of people show up, so that will be happening on Halloween. Unfortunately he can't show any hardcore horror, otherwise I'd be there all night for sure! I'd love for them to show Halloween, but little kiddies would cry and there would be trouble.

Heh, well, you be the 'darchangel' and I shall be the 'dark angel', okay? Besides, you are Elvira. Elvira has a bustline which is quite distracting, whereas me as the 'dark angel' is simply wearing a corset-esque top and faaaaaaaaar from an Elvira bustline therefore...I don't rightly know what my point was supposed to be. Either way, I'll take LOTS of pictures, I just won't share them with anymore. Or at least not the perverts on here! :p

Welly, welly, well, well, well...I reckon I have a par-tay to attend to on Saturday, it won't be filled with too much Halloween merriment however because as Cronos said, the "31st" is wank over in this country. Probably get rat-arsed off a couple of dozens of carling and cabbage on a sufficiant area of space.

I have the whooole day off on Monday, so I can celebrate on the undervalued spooky night itself. Give some kidders a penny and a jelly bean, have some lagers with the boys, smoke some substances and watch a couple of fearsome flicks.

Fettdog- I was so jealous to hear you going to a Ball in London. You suck.......but in a good way.

Romero & Juliet - don't not stay indoors tonight....instead introduce those who do not know you to Eddie Munster.

Rogelioduron - That is a great costume and you are so lucky to have your own store and do whatever the hell you want with it. Congrads.

Well, I had a fun Saturday night with a bunch of friends in Milwaukee--but it almost didn't happen. It wasn't till the last minute I finally managed to get in touch with my friend. I live up in Green Bay and he's down in Milwaukee, which is a two-hour drive. So I wasn't sure if I should rush down there and take the chance that everyone would be out of the house when I arrived, or just play it safe and stay in. I decided that if I did stay home I'd spend the rest of the weekend wondering what I missed, so I grabbed a monster mask, jumped in the car, made a quick stop at the gas station, and sped down the interstate. My mom wasn't happy about my leaving on such short notice, especially at night, but parents just dont' get it (yes, I still live with them, but it's only a temporary arrangement ;))

I made my way down to Milwaukee with no trouble. Thankfully, my friends were considerate enough to wait for me, but they were never really in any kind of hurry I don't think. Anyways we ended up going to this new, trendy looking bar that was full of people in costumes. They had a bunch of flat TV's on the walls, where they showed the following horror movies: Friday the 13th, Hellraiser: Hellseeker, Child's Play 3, and A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. Not my first choice of a lineup, but considering the music was so loud they didn't even bother with the sound, they served their purpose I suppose. The important thing is I got more or less loaded and spent some time out of the house and out of Green Bay (boring town). I would have preferred to go bar hopping but this one was good enough so I didn't get bored fast.

Then I crashed at his place and on Halloween day, I had a hangover till evening. In the meantime they popped in a DVD of the animated cult classic Fantastic Planet. Interesting, but I would have enjoyed it more if I was feeling a bit better. :p Anyways by 4 pm, I was feeling well enough to make the drive back home, and by the time I arrived (6 pm) I was fully recovered and ready to eat a whole personal pizza for supper (I could have gone for a whole pizza considering I didn't have lunch).

After that the next order of business was to eat a whole bag of Starburst chews and watch movies. I ended up viewing A Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellbound: Hellraiser II. I considered watching Halloween, but oddly enough, I didn't feel like watching it at that particular time. Odd, huh? ;) Anyhoo, that was my weekend. :)
