Okay, so the fist season of The Munsters came out last tuesday. I've been working at a video store as a summer
job (good fun.. ) and I've already snagged my copy.

COOOOOOOOOLNESSSSSSSS ABOUNNNNNNNNNDS.

the lacklusture pilot left a little to be desired(the bastards had actually tried out another woman before Yvonne took the role of Lily!) and you could tell that the writers had not picked up any steam for a few episodes..

I reccomend this cammmpy little treat to anyone in trhe mood for a black take on the happy-go-lucky sitcoms of the day(anyone else wanna see Herman STEP on ward Cleaver?). Obviously, the
schmoe appeal is potentially VERY high.

just so freaking baddass - 38 episodes of pure bliss.

I'm hoping that I'll get this for my birthday. The first few episodes are rough around the edges, but the show found a groove once the delectable Pat Priest joined the cast. Oh, and welcome back, R&J!

Romero honey,

was the episode where Fred Gwynne appears with no make-up in the first season? Or much later?

I caught this episode last week on Nick at Night....forgot all about it....wow, he was actually quite a handsome thing.

I totally dont remember that scene at alll.. heh, there are 38 episodes in the season and I'm nowhere NEAR done them all..

KEep an eye out for the episode where the Creature From The Black Lagoon makes a cameo, though.

and thanks for the welcome back, but I'm totlallly not going to be settled down and with the net for a while. . I WILLLL be back, though; mark mine worrrrrrrrrd, fellow schmoes!

PS: The only makeup-less time I've ever seen Gwynne was in Pet Semetary- he kicked ass, but by NO means a looker.

Cool. I didn't even know about this. What is the price tag on this thing? I doubt I have money for it, but a man can dream...a man can dream...

In most places, it prices for around $35. Not bad.
