Someone once told me that the electronic group Coil did the original score for the first Hellraiser film, but that it was so scary that they changed it at the last minute. Anyone else know about this...and is it available in any form? I am completely intrigued.
I only know Coil by a member who did some mixing on the Nine Inch Nails remix album "Further Down the Spiral".

Some info here (http://www.brainwashed.com/coil/music/hellraiser/) .
Seems they're all out of print, though. But you can listen to a track on that page and IMO, it doesn't sound very scary or fitting in the movies sense.

Get yourself on Kazaa and download the track called Box Theme. Now THAT's freaky as fuck.

I still prefer Christopher Young's Score and I say that because it is good, not just because he is my friend. ;)
