For Freddy Vs, Jason, what were the other possible plots being considered before it was made?

I heard something dealing with the Fred-heads and Jason's heart, but that's about it.

IMO: It sound pretty crappy.
Spoilers: Character names like Cobain and Manfredini says a little about the characters... :D and also theres an appearance of Satan in a black suit of armor... go figure.

I remember reading some of the "original" scripts for FvJ, one had Jason being arrested and going through a trail with Freddy being able to jump out of Jason (NOES2 style) and enter the real world. That one was kinda crappy...actually it was crappy, for a FvJ movie this won't do. It also states somewhere in the film that the "Friday the 13th" films are just films, kinda like a film-within-a-film sub-story that it didn't need.

Another one I read wasn't too bad and it wasn't too good, it had Alice from NOES meeting some new people in Crystal Lake (methinks, been a while since I've read it) and Jason was brought back to life by some "worshippers" that sacrificed some goth chick, Jason was described as having a "chrome mask" though but he did go to work on the worshippers (like the opening scene in Jason X) but it turned to crap at the end by introducing a new villian called "Thoans"(sp?) who was controlling Jason and Freddy. Freddy and Jason ended up working together to destroying the new baddie....again, ugh!!
