I was talking to a friend of mine at work and we heard of Burt Reynolds as the lead choice for Boss Hogg in the 'Dukes of Hazzard' movie.
My friend then came up with Danny Devito as a suggestion for the role. I thought it was a damn good idea; not only does he look like the character, but has played similar roles in the past. What does everybody else think?

Good idea!
Casting Danny Devito in the role of Boss Hogg would be the only positive thing this production has going for it.
And Burt Reynolds? What the hell? Does Warner Brothers not care one bit about casting actors who actually resemble the original stars?

Reynolds could probably play Uncle Jesse though.
Anyway everyone knows the most important casting in Dukes (apart from the General Lee of course) is Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.

I could care less that he doesn't resemble Boss Hogg....the fact that Burt Reynolds is getting steady work again is good news to me.

I am thinking and I just can't think of anyone that would be a good one.

After having Stifler and Jackass cast as the Dukes, I could care less who plays who... this movie has lost all hope.
