But could you tell us how major a spoiler it is? I don't mind knowing a bit more about the movie, as I already know a great deal about it, but I don't exactly want the ending... Without seeing the whole film that scene is admittedly out of context , but a couple of things dont make sense , why the hell are they going after a serial killer with only two detectives . If they knew where his lair was , i figure they would call in the STARS and lay down the wrath of god on him ( her ) . Why the hell didn't they just shoot the suspect ( prob because it would be less dramatic ) . Why the hell didn't they just cut the power to the drill contraption , that would have been the easiest way to stop it ( pull the plug you nimrod or cut the cord or something . Nice Gates of hell homage though ) .

Like i said though , its all out of context since i havent seen all the events that led up to it .
