Who's your favorite actor/actress who once became famous in a TV show, and later on has made himself known in movies, like George Clooney, who is the first choise of many, I'd imagine.

Russell Crowe comes to mind. He was on that Australian television show "Neighbours" for a year in 1987...

I would have to say both Morgan Freeman and Ray Liotta. Both starred on the NBC Soap Another World in the early 80's.

How could you consider Tom Hanks to be one of the WORST ACTORS? Freddie Prinze Jr is one of the worst actors, do you think Tom Hanks deserves to be considered as bad as him?

I think Tom Hanks is one of the best there is.

How about Goldie Hawn.
She may not be considered oscar material at the moment, but she did win one at one point.

Just FYI: Johnny Depp did movies before Tv. His first was A Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984, followed by 3 others, then 21 Jump Street came in 1987. But, he is growing better all the time!
