"In their third annual contest, marijuana-themed magazine High Times, has announced the nominees for their Stony Awards, celebrating the best in countercultural and marijuana-friendly filmmaking. Reuters reports the magazine has announced nominees in a variety of categories, including Stoner of the Year. i read that he won best actor in a comedy when he did Dogma, so he's a sure lock. i dont read High Times, but i found out on the Dogma commentary track

The comedian, David Cross, mentioned that High Times features centerfolds of buds, and asked if people jerked-off to them.


If I were going to pick Best Stoner of the year, my choice would be Owen Wilson for The Royal Tenenbaums. This is why I don't like High Times - Like Cheech mentioned, what about How High?

Anyway, how can you go wrong with dialogue like this:

"Did you say something?"

"No."

"Oh, sorry. I'm on mescaline."

That's my choice, too. I like his stoner/eccentric in TENENBAUMS better. I want those paintings for my own place
