NICOLE Kidman was spotted with a "mystery man" at a boxing bout in the US, a local weekly mag has claimed this week, but the identity of the bloke's not really much of a mystery at' all.
The man in question featured in an article in NW was none other than Eric Watson, boss of the New Zealand Warriors NRL club.
It's unclear whether the pair are dating, but they have been spotted in each other's company before last week's fight in Las Vegas.
There, they watched former champ Oscar De La Hoya's defeat at the hands of Bernard Hopkins at the MGM Grand.
Kidman and Watson were both among high-profile guests (including Russell Crowe) who attended Wollongong Entertainment Centre in January who watched Anthony Mundine defeat Japanese boxer Yoshinori Nishizawa.
Watson is one of New Zealand's richest men, boasting a fortune estimated in 2002 at $250 million and is the owner of a multi-million dollar horse stud.
The Warriors' boss, said to be a renowned ladies man, was once married to magazine cover girl Nicky, who now lives with former New Zealand and Manly league legend Matthew Ridge.
US model Nicole Muirbrook, 20, was Watson's squeeze in 2003.
Watson famously beat up Russell Crowe in Japanese restaurant Zuma in November 2002 in Knightsbridge, London.
Newspaper reports at the time said Crowe's minders "dashed to the toilet to find Crowe on the ground and Watson pummelling him".
Given that history, should Kidman and Watson begin a relationship it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall at a dinner party attended by the pair and Nicole's close friend Crowe.
