"Buffy the Vampire Slayer," on the basis that it spawned a terrific TV show.
Seriously though, my pick is "Nosferatu."

Nosferatu ('79). Just the way the mood was set by that long ride into the country and the way mood was used throughout to make subtle points. It's a brilliant film.

Definitely that 80's Robert Sean Leonard classic MY BEST FRIEND WAS A VAMPIRE...lol...just kidding!
NOSFERATU hands down. The 1922 version is great but I kind of like the 70's version the best.

The Lost Boys is the best vampire film. An entertaining funfest from start to finish. What can I say. I love this movie. Fright Night is pretty good too even if i think it falls apart near the end. It's sequel is just as fun if you ask me. Blade was pretty good too. I did also like My Best Friend is a Vampire, even if it was pretty stupid. The rest I havent seen although I would like too. I've been wantin to see Near Dark for a very long time.

My favorites are Shadow of the Vampire, the original Dracula AND the Francis Ford Coppola version with Gary Oldman. Interview With the Vampire was good as is Near Dark and Fright Night. Dracula 2000 sucked ass, but the story behind it was a good idea. Lost Boys was entertaining. I thought it was a bit cheesy though.

Kastman, I wholeheartedly agree with you about Lost Boys, I just did not enjoy it at all, and I've seen it 5 times at least...and I own it! What the hell?
Anyway Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins is the absolute best Vampire movie ever.

Bram Stoker's Dracula - Gary Oldman is my favorite Dracula ever.
The Lost Boys - Kiefer Sutherland fuckin' rocks in this.
Blade
Upcoming vampire movies that I think will be really cool.
Underworld - Kate Beckinsale as ass-kicking vampire with guns and wearing black leather. How can you go wrong?
Van Helsing - Hugh Jackman as Abraham Van Helsing, Kate Beckinsale (again) as a vampire hunter and Richard Roxburgh as Dracula. This movie is gonna rock!!!

Interview With the Vampire (9/10) is easily the best. A killer gothic feel to the whole movie with amazing cinematography and great acting make this, IMO, the best vampire movie ever made.

There are quite a few good ones out there, but my favorite is, without a doubt, The Hunger.
From the opening credits (featuring "Bela Lugosi's Dead" performed by Peter Murphy and Bauhaus), to the final scene with the awakening of the past lovers/victims...a visually stunning piece of work.
Denueve, Bowie and Sarandon are all incredible in their respective roles...and the seduction scene between Susan and Catherine is as steamy as it gets.
A fantastic flick, it holds a firm spot in my all-time top ten.
