1. Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El in SUPERMAN
2. Jonathan Fisher in STREET SMART
3. Flaherty in MONSIGNOR
4. Clifford Anderson in DEATHTRAP
5. Richard Collier in SOMEWHERE IN TIME
6. Blaine Bingham in SWITCHING CHANNELS
7. Lewis in THE REMAINS OF THE DAY
8. Bob 'Bagdad' Freed in SPEECHLESS
9. Dr. Alan Chaffee in VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED (1995)
10. Frederick Dallas/Philip Brent in NOISES OFF

Reeve was also terrific in his post-accident roles as the Jimmy Stewart character in a 1998 TV-remake of REAR WINDOW, and in an another iconic yet ironic small screen role on the TV series SMALLVILLE.

I don't mean to be maudlin about Reeve's passing, I just thought we'd honor those recently departed actors (much like my recent Janet Leigh thread, which was created before her death).

Haven't seen many of his movies, but I do own Superman and Superman II; those are by far my two favorite movies with him; and two of my favorite comic book movies.

Superman is my favorite!!

I liked him in Noises Off a lot too, though I haven't seen all his films.

Superman by far and his small but huge role on Smallville and I know I won't be able to watch any of the Superman movies for awhile cuz they were such a big part of my childhood growing up and for the next little while I won't be able to watch them without crying :(

sorry but I had to get the off my chest

Definately Superman! It's the only thing I've really seen with him other than the godawful Village of the Damned movie.

The guy was Superman in real life so naturally no other role even comes close.

There's only one SUPERMAN. He's it. My wife loved SOMEWHERE IN TIME, THOUGH.
