Jackson Set To Sue Eminem Over Video
Michael Jackson is poised to sue Eminem over the rapper's new video which depicts the superstar playing with young children, according to reports.
The video for Eminem's new single Just Lose It also pokes fun at Jacko's plastic surgery and an incident when his hair caught fire filming a commercial 20 years ago.
Eminem appears made up as Jackson in the Thriller star's trademark red leather jacket and trousers.
In one scene his nose falls off, and Eminem raps: "Come here little kiddie, on my lap, guess who's back with a brand new rap. And I don't mean rap as in a case of child molestation."
It ends with Eminem's Jacko sitting on a bed with kids bouncing up and down behind him.
The Daily Star said Jackson is considering legal action if the rapper does not scrap the promo.
Jackson's spokesman said: "The Jackson family feels the video is demeaning and disrespectful and hopes Eminem will pull it.
"Michael is very displeased and doesn't want it shown."
The video was aired on MTV an VH1 for the first time at the weekend.

Good for Jacko.
I mean, where else is he gonna get enough money to keep those little kids quiet?

i actually hope Jackson wins this case and Eminem is forced to take the video off the air.... for the sole purpose that Eminem had Sand In His Vagina when "Weird Al" Yankovic wanted to make a video for Couch Potatoe (parody of Lose Yourself)
Eminem has good music... i just think he acts like a lil bitch sometimes.. whats ok for him to do isnt ok for others... case in point:
In the video for Just Lose It he makes fun of 8 Mile... yet he denied Yankovic permission to parody Lose Yourself because it was too personal... but when it provides comedy for Em than its all ok.... fucking pussy

He tried this last year, by trying to sue the makers of Scary Movie 3 because of the scene in the movie that parodies The Others. Eminem's ass is protected by freedom of speech though. I have yet to see the video, but I'm very interested in seeing it now

eminem is one of the top five hottest rappers but he would start crying like a bitch if someone made a video that made fun of his daughter, trailer park mother and junky baby-mother......he needs to keep making fun of everyone else to keep from crying when he looks at his own situation.
i can hear him now making it seem like the next person went too far when they said something about his daughter.

I'd like to see someone burn him badly. He's a crybaby cunt if there ever was one. And it's high time somebody made a spoof of him. If Weird Al or Jamie Kennedy gets under his skin, what would he do if a rapper made a parody of him?
I could see it now. His lips would be attached to Dre's ass for most of the video while his wife did heroin in a bathroom and his mom waved legal docs in the air with her lawyer pointing and laughing. Then Mariah Carey would come out and split into two personalities and beat the shit out of him while he cried and sucked on a baby bottle.
Not that I like Michael Jackson, but I find it funny that Eminem always picks on the weakest celebs he can as opposed to tackling anyone who might be on his level (or better). Poser.

I do kinda hope Jackson wins the case, not because I like him, but because then we won't ever have to be subjected to that God-awful video again.
Or I could just not watch MuchMusic.

Jackson doesn't have a chance in hell of winning any lawsuit; he wanted to do the same thing to Scary Movie 3. But since, it's parody, it doesn't fall under any libel or slander lawsuits.
Eminem is home free.
-I thought the video was hilarious. Song isn't half bad either, not his best, but decent.

I didn't know that he tried to sue about Scary Movie 3 - that is so retarded - poor Michael - I guess that is the only way for him to make any money anymore - what a reject! that part was pretty funny actually and Em's video is quite funny and I happen to like his music even though he is quite the asshole most of the time

Micheal Jackson, being the asshole he is, is trying like so many others, to censor Eminem. That is just being ridiculus and stupid. Jackson can't take a joke? does he have no sense of humor?
yea, because nobody has been succesful at censoring eminem, lmao....

haven't seen it yet.but i think its bout time em stops making fun of others especially since he doesnt like it vice-versa.
makin fun of anythin would be ok,but please leev MJ alone dude!!i mean,im not a fan of his(used to be long time bak),nor am i sayin he is a sane person, but he was one of the most popular and influential people during his times.he wasnt called the 'king of pop' for nothing.and if v cant respect or admire the man,the least v can do is acknowledge it!
if u wanna make fun of things there are quite a looooootta things goin on around us...like jessica simpson, politics,Bush, michael moore, and ofcourse, the ever-reliable britney spears.
and by the way em.u can do these kinda things if u've got nothing to lose.but remember...u've got a daughter.jus make sure she wouldnt have to face the consequences of all yer nonsense later-on.

Although I despise Eminem more than cat-shit on my carpet I can't help but cry "Alas," to Michael Jackson. "Why are you not surprised?" It was bound to happen at some point or the other. Eminem just picked the first ticket.
I personally find the song shite, the video unfunny and the entire controversy surrounding this subject pointless.
It's a shame that in Michael Jackson juvenile mind he's not realising that all he's doing is giving Marshall Mathers more free publicity.

In a bombshell revelation, Harvey stated that Bob Johnson, Founder and CEO of BET has decided to pull the video from BET’s rotation and will not be playing it again.
Johnson also called The Steve Harvey morning show and confirmed the video has been pulled from the BET airwaves.
Johnson is expected to release a statement later today about this issue.

Eminem's main targets seem to be singers like Michael Jackson and boy bands. Not exactly difficult targets. I'd like to see him try and go after a band like Pantera.
Oh, and while Michael Jackson is eccentric at the very least, "Thriller" was a much better album than anything Eminem has ever put out.

Remember that episode of Family Guy that showed Stephen King in some office, and he was saying, "Okay....for my 307th book....uh....this couple is attacked by a.....a.....a LAMP MONSTER!!! OOOOHHHH!" And he started waving this lamp around, and his editor (or whoever it was) says to him, "You're not even trying anymore, are you?"
That's kind of what it's like with Eminem. "Okay, in my next video, I'll make fun of Michael Jackson and Madonna and MC Hammer and Pee-Wee Herman, and I'll have fart jokes and I'll try to make Paris Hilton look remotely attrative!"
You're not even trying anymore, are you?

No, Mike's music is at least quality.
Eminem isnt music. It's the rape and torture of music.

Rubbish. Everything Jackson has released post dangerous has been shite.
And as far as him suing eminem goes, surely for MJ to sue that'd mean everything eminem is saying is untrue. Ha ha ha, I don't think so.

yo schmoes...liking or disliking these artists' songs n albums is obviously your own opinions, rather, subjective opinions.so lets stop callin either one of their works shit, crap etc.it'll only lead to pointless arguements.

I don't like anything Eminem has done, and he IS a worthless little shit who can dish it out but can't spoon it in.
If he wasn't such a hypocrite, I'd at least have an inkling of respect for him.
I think MJ is fucked up, but he's done some genius shit in his younger days. He deserves to be parodied, too!
So I dislike both these artists' songs n albums, and most of BOTH their works is shit, crap etc...:D

Making fun of the Michael Jackson Pepsi commercial is pretty lame. David Lee Roth did it almost 20 years ago, and so did Neil Young. I guess Em is kicking it old school....
That is just being ridiculus and stupid. Jackson can't take a joke? does he have no sense of humor?
The same can be said for Eminem, who tried to beat up a cigar smoking sock puppet, and got upset by a middle aged man who still refers to himself as "weird".
At least Jackson has obvious personal reasons to be offended. It's not exactly like he got a DUI for running into a mailbox/

Jeo, your video concept sounds BRILLIANT! Made me laff my ass off, and that's a lot of laffing! When can we start filming???
I just saw Eminem's video in its entirety on - get this - VH1 - and have to say that Marshall is being rather unfair in his treatment of Michael Jackson. His reps claim that he's jabbing "everybody" and not focusing on MJ, but I saw the video and am calling bullshit. From the lyrics to the imagery, nearly the whole damn thing is slamming Jackson. The chorus even contains wording something like (paraphrasing here, so bear with me) "Boy, oops, I mean Girl..."
Regarding celebs who could beat Em's ass (the ones who don't take any shit, you know the kind I mean), I would like to see him go after, in no particular order:
1. Matt and Trey
2. Tom Cruise
3. Sean Penn
Any one, or combination, of the above would make Eminem's initials stand for Mince Meat instead of Marshall Mathers.

I hate, fucking HATE Eminem. The video and the song suck ass. This would be the only time I would be on Jacko's side. Just to have Eminem lose. They both need to grow up.
