X2 is far and away the best superhero movie I've seen, although I haven't (shockingly enough) seen Superman or any of the (good) Batman movies.

While I liked quite a few of these... I think I like the X-Men movies the best with Spiderman at a close second. However, like I said, with the exception of Hulk, Dardevil, and Catwoman I pretty much like all these.

I'd say Unbreakable is the best, but since it's not on the list, Spiderman 2 followed by Batman Returns.

I voted for "Superman," though "Batman Returns" would've given him a run for his money. Actually, I think Superman is a pretty uninteresting superhero with very little personality. But the movie is still dazzling to this day.

"Superman 2," however, is one of the most disappointing superhero sequels (as far as "Part 2's" are concerned, I mean). It just didn't have the epic feel of the original, and there's way too much stupid comic relief. The guy getting the ice cream blown in his face makes me cringe. This is supposed to be an epic battle between good and evil, the culmination of a plot point set out in the first 20 minutes of the previous film, and dude gets ice cream in his face? DAMMIT!

What's interesting today is how many superhero "Part 2's" surpass the originals: "Batman Returns," "X-2," "Spiderman 2," etc. (Just my opinion, but shared by many.)
