Let's regard this blue eyed, smooth vernaculared James Bond of this present generation on a professional level. This fellow brought the legacy of 007 back to the screen... that is something that most fans should be grateful for.

I find him one smooth son of a gun with a solid resume. Sure he has been known for a few slip of the tongues, however, that doesn't prevent him from being all presence and sophisticated in the films he appears in.

From the snarly antithesis of Bond in the guise of Andy Osnard of The Tailor of Panama, Brosnan was able to show that he could be an absolute cunt and still remain likeable.
In the quite frankly wonderful Thomas Crown Affair remake, he showed off the whole smooth operator wonderfully.
In Mars Attacks! and Miss Doubtfire, he wasn't afraid to make a mockery of himself with his off-beat self-decpreciatory figuring.

And yes, yes OH LORD YES, I would slam it like an unhinged door on a windy day.

Tagia, ya horn dog, you. ;)

Seriously, though, the man is a smooth operator. Love the guy. Good looks, charm, talent and a smirk that put's Roger Moore on notice. YAY!

Nay!

I can't stand Brosnan and his whole aura. He's pretty much typical in all of his roles and loves himself too much for me to like him.

Well OF COARSE he gets a YAY!

He's far and away my favorite Bond! Yep, that's right, even more than Sean Connery!

Unfortunately he's been fired by the producers who want to make Bond younger! :(

It also doesn't help that I active dislike the new Bond movies he stars in.

Even Goldeneye? Or are you just talking about TWINE and DAD?

'Cause if you like any of the older Bonds, I can't see how you could dislike GE.

Yay - He's the 2nd best Bond...James Bond and he seems like a cool cat that guys and girls can agree on a la George Clooney.

Plus, he's a lucky bastard for playing a love interest opposite a platinum wigged Rachel McAdams in the upcoming Marriage. Here's a photo of the two from the upcoming movie: http://www.rachelonline.net/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/marriage01.jpg

^Did I mention he's a lucky bastard? ;)

Nay for me.

Never saw the big deal about him.

He'll always be Remington Steele...not James Bond. If he hadn't gotten tapped to play Bond he'd probably still be doing bit parts and Made-For-TV movies.

He was James Bond for crying out loud. Hell yeah it's a yay. Plus he was good in The Thomas Crown Affair and The Tailor from Panama, among others.
