They should really just give up already on casting this movie.

It's safe to say, I feel cautiously optimistic about this film now.

Especially when compared to Nolan's 'Batman Begins'.

I've seen Brandon Routh in a few television shows. And all I can say is, I hope the guy has taken a few acting classes. Because next to Christian Bale, Routh would look like a complete and total joke.

But I'll give the guy a chance.

Mischa Barton as Lois Lane?
I have to agree with Sharkstank. What the fuk is with that???

But don't you have to have acting talent to be in a movie?
Oh, wait, I'm thinking of old Hollywood.

They've cast actors around the same age as those in TV's Smallville. Not to mention that the entire cast so far is from TV.

I get the feeling this might just be all teen angst and gooey eyes. Especially if Mischa Barton is involved.

Ugh, even though she was hot, I couldn't stand Erica Durance as Lois Lane on Smallville. And last time I checked, in the comics, Lois was AT LEAST 5 years or older than Clark.

And now we're gonna have Mischa Barton playing Lois now?! Shit, it's like a reverse formula that the originality-sucking studio execs didn't think the fans were gonna notice.
