DreamWorks has set a date for the Mamoru Oshii directed anime Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence which will be arriving in shops this December. The film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen along with a Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1 track. English subtitles will also be provided. The disc will be available to own from the 28th December this year, and should set you back around $29.99. I'm afraid that's just about all we know at the moment, but as soon as we hear anything else, we'll let you know.
I enjoyed the first GitS but haven't had the chance to see the follow-up yet, so I'll be renting this (unless I get to see it in the theater first).
