KILL BILL 1&2 Special Edidtion/Double Pack

I had heard that after the bare bones DVDs of both volumes of KILL BILL were released that there would be some type of special edition box set that included both films. I never got to see Volume 2 in theatres, and I still haven't seen it. I was going to wait until this box set came out, but now it seems that all the talk on this has died away. I don't want to have to double-dip on buying these, but I want to see (and own) both films sooner or later.

Has anyone heard anything on this?

Also, feel free to talk about the films, or other Tarantino films, in this thread.

BTW, I recently saw JACKIE BROWN for the first time, and while it's my least favorite Tarantino film, it was quite enjoyable.

There will be a two disc set and then a four disc collectors set. QT said he has big plans for the DVD releases, so we should keep our eyes peeled.

The Whole Bloody Story should make it to DVD too. He showed a cut of how the movie would have been at Cannes to select journos.

I dont usually like it when they release a bare bones DVD then decide to do a special edition but in this case I'll make the exception as I love the movies.

I just hope the entire film will be on one DVD, it will defeat the purpose of "the saga in one form" if both volumes were split. Other discs can have speacial features.

I've been having a big problem lately with DVD's that I already own being re-released as delux editions...

I know that sooner or later they're gonna do something with Kill Bill so I've been holding off on buying them...

I actually clicked on this thread cuz I thought there was gonna be info on the SE DVD!

I own both, and I'd rebuy each one as a 2 disc, or all of them together as a 4 disc. Bring it on! I can never get enough of Volume 1 or 2.

Why hurt yourself over movies you'd buy? I mean honestly, do you really give care that much about special features? Who honestly watches them more than once or twice or ever?

Also, you could very easily purchase them now and resell them later.

Personally, I just don't see the point of holding out for a movie some people desperately want.

For those of you however who enjoy the movie and would rather wait for a proper release of the movie, I salute you.
