Not sure how you have The Village...but that's alright. I'd give it a 5/10. They did make movies prior to 1990! You own Once Upon a Time in America, I'd expand that out, pick up Leone's Dollar's trilogy as well as Once Upon a Time in the West. The best way to expand is to take filmmakers/genres that you like, and see their origins. If you're big on Goodfellas, track down Scorsese's earlier work. If you really like gangster films, go back to classics like the original Scarface, Little Caesar, etc. Most modern films were influenced by those that came before them, so track down those influences and see if you like them, and then you'll have a more encompassing collection.
