Our good friends at TVShowsOnDVD.com have kindly provided us with official details on Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars which is a mini-series that aired recently on the Sci-Fi Channel. The show will be available on a single (presumably double-sided) disc from the 18th January next year. The retail price will be set at around $19.98. The episodes themselves will be presented in anamorphic widescreen along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 Surround tracks. Extras will include a thirty-minute Making of The Peacekeeper Wars featurette, an Interactive Conceptual Art Gallery, Authentic Production Storyboards, a Spacecraft Gallery and much, much more.

Looks like they're wasting no time with this one. I wasn't a huge fan of the show, but I did catch many of the episodes over the last week or so when SciFi re-aired the series, and I did watch both parts of this miniseries for the most part (I was flipping between this and the Sox/Yankees game...go Sox!). What I saw I thought was pretty good, but I may have to rent this to fill in the parts I missed.
