This doesn't really interest me it all. Seems more like a desperate attempt by Hathaway to get into the limelight. For her sake, I hope that the film is good. Because if it turns out to be a bad, exploitative flick with not much artistic value, she is going to take a BAD bashing. If it were a high quality art film with greated intentions, then it would do her no damage at all, the opposite of it.

I actually saw PRINCESS DIARIES 2 just to get glances at Hathaway, so I'm pretty much anticipating this. The whole lips thing does have me wondering if it will make the final cut...with exception of THE DREAMERS I can't remember any movie showing something like that.

Yeah, but Greb, this is like saying "if you want to get laid, go find a hooker". Here's the plot:

The lives of wealthy teenagers living in Los Angeles whose exposure to "hip hop culture" inspires them to imitate the "gangsta lifestyle." Although, they soon run into trouble when they come face-to-face with a real gang of Latino drug dealers.

Personally, I think this could go either way. I'm sure it will go the "wrong" way though. I will see it in theaters if it comes anywhere near me, but I doubt it will be. I'll rent it eventually on DVD unless it gets GREAT reviews.

Personally, if the rumors are true, I think Hathaway just committed career suicide. It's good to break away from the clean cut image, but resembling a soft porn actress isn't going to do much for her. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like a sketchy move, especially if she is looking for artistic credibility.
