Ok so yeah she cant sing all that great and she does dress a little to provacative for your grandmothers taste, and at times it does seem like she's losing her mind. however all the she's a slut and a whore and a whatever, isnt it a bit much. Yes we are bombarded with her day and night 24/7 But you have to give credit where credit is due. There arent many people out there with as much drive and, call it what you will but this is what im going to call it, "charisma" like her's. As i said befre she cant sing all that great, but what makes a popstar is much more than weather or not you can sing to the high heavens. ( look at mrs christina's career, if she doesnt do something drastic and i mean drastic, she will go the way of many a great songbirds such as lisa fisher, god forbid phylis hyman) Britters there has been working since she was just a litte thing. Not to mention that ever since she came out it's pretty much been on a fast track. Studio, Promote, Tour. Video, Video, Video, rinse, Dry , Repeat, Add two books here and a movie there let simmer for almost a decade. It may seem like a playing, Pun semi intended, Devils advocate, But like i said i do believe in giving credit where credit is due. It's just my opinion that the majority of people who moke celebs like brit, christina , even , lord i cant belive im saying this Hilary duff, Thoses people propably couldnt get through a year in there shoes.

are you fucking KIDDING me??? the ONLY reason she's where she is now is because men like to spank to her and little girls think she's a grown-up Barbie doll.

she gets no credit from me; she can't sing worth a shit, she lip synchs during concerts and she's rude to the media and her fans, not to mention there are dozens of girls out there waiting for a break who are much more talented (and in my opinion, much better looking) than she is.

if it were you in Britney Spears shoes, people would bash you the same if not more. Its just how the world is. Nobody is loved by everyone. Britney could careless....she's rich. I wouldnt care less either if i was rich and never had to work another day in my life. I don't like her music (except for the odd tapping of the odd toe to the odd tune on the odd occassion when my guard is down). But it's still totally beyond me what she's done to deserve HATRED. There are celebs who i'll admit to disliking. Mildly. But for me to really hate someone they would have to do something really horrible to me personally or have committed some sort of actual crime (being successful and almost talentless is not a crime...it's luck). You'd think the way some of you act about Britney (and her ilk) that she'd been coming round every morning for the last year to shit in your cornflakes (if she's been doing this i'm going to require some photographic evidence). :D

Not sure what you mean with this? Are you thinking of Britney as "better" than Aguilera? Aguilera can sing circles around Britney. She has actual talent to back up her career (Better songs too, IMHO). Also, where as Britney has become increasingly slutty with her look, Aguilera has cleaned up a lot and seems to have a much better focus on her life. Where as Britney has a tendency for random relationships and quickie marriages, Aguilera has been dating the same man for almost two years and just recently got engaged with him. I'm not too familiar with Lisa Fisher or Phylis Hyman, but after giving a quick check they don't sound too bad. Both worked much longer than Britney has so far, and both received high praise for their work as mature and serious musicians. If this is the way Christina is going to go, then good for her.

You can't build a long career by being a teenybobber idol. I think Aguilera understands this. Unlike Britney, she also has the talent and arguably credibility to succeed as a more mature musician. After 10 years I don't think Spears will be around anymore, but Christina might.

I'm only jealous of the buttloads of cash she gets for being who she is. I can still think she's untalented, tasteless, skanky, obnoxious and mean. I can think that she treats fans, reporters, and paparazzi alike as if she was born to walk on them. I can think she's setting a very slutty example for her tween fanbase. I can also think she's a hypocrite for her behavior. (I.E. "I'm a virgin, I don't smoke, I don't drink, etc.") I can say she's ripping off her fans in concert and on the web. ($25 for a fucking letter??)

what i was saying about aguilera in the comparison to lisa fischer and phylis hymen was that the two of them had voice's that could run circles around CHRISTINA and even though they did they both dissapeared into nothingness( literaly for one as she killed herself). on another note as for the lip-synching i have seen her perform alot of stuff live and i mean LIVE and just the the early stuff either i mean her new stuff and she does sound good not great, but good. I did hear something along the lines of she dances a whole lot and what most people dont know is that she has ashma ( i have no idea how to spell it) so she does sing live i'd say about 30% of the time. but hey if you were on tour and had 52 dates all of them about two days apart im sure there would be at least 4 or 5 times where ur just like fuck it throw on the tape.

Christina won three grammy's in the last five years including just last year for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. how many grammys has britney spears won? NONE. Every record christina has put out so far has sold over 4 million worldwide. Bear in mind that the average takehome pay from 4 million records sold after all managers and labels have been paid...the artist can expect about 2.4 million dollars and thats not including shows and touring which can easily add on another few million. So how is she not doing so well with her career? Neither one of these broads "has" to work anymore if they dont want.

the only thing britney does harder and better than her is dance. and you can find a rack of hot blondes in any dance studio that can do it better than spears...since she isnt the hottest singer i am sure u can find someone that can carry a note as well. all she has is marketing. period.....but i respect both the girls talent or not. they're living their dreams and not on internet forums like us :p

Pain In Da Azz yes every album christina has put out has sold over four million copies domesticly.....alll two of them ;) While all four of brits have alll sold over 3 mill ( i say three mill because billboard hasnt updated the cirtification classes yet and wont untill december the 3 mill comes from ITZ) And quite to the contrary britney HAS one Several Grammys, however they arent the "popular" best new artist blah blah stuff, they are little technical and semi vocal awards. Adding to the fact that it pains me to see christina have to do a coheadlining tour with the ilk of mankind justin timberlake ( i think a solo tour with her would have been sooo amazing with the right direction) and its not all marketing , marketing doesnt ensure people will but into it (my case in point Sky captains: box office receipts. different fruit all together but u get the idea, marketing doesnt always insure success) So how is she not doing so well with her career? having to do a headlining tour with justin timberlake because at the time your cd isnt selling well thats how. That should NEVER happen especially for an artist with that kind of vocal power. ( you shouldnt have to sit through a 50 minute set of justin timberlake to see mrs. chrisinta belt it. and the fact that her second tour DIDNT sell out, do i really need to address this ?
