Netflix down

The price is going to be 17.99 starting on November 1st.

How come earlier this year it hopped up to 21.99 and now its down more than when I signed up Dec '03?

Is it like this for any one else? Probably trying to compete with blockbuster online pricing.... I'd assume...

Yeah I just noticed that too. Cool. :cool: Probably are trying to really demolish Blockbuster online.

I read an article the other day about this. Wish I could remember where, I would post a link. It basically said that Netflix is coming down in price to better compete against Blockbuster and Wal-Mart, and the expected Amazon rental service that they expect before the end of this year.

Just checked what the blockbuster pricing is... 17.49

a whole 50 cents cheaper, we all want netflix, the original people, to win the competition!
