What are the thaughts on the Halloween box-set this containg all the films including 6. I think the disks in the box are the same as those in the single editions but could this be cleared up. I have the first two films on DVD (Both editions of the 1st one ) and it looks like it will be cheaper for me to buy this set than the rest individualy any one else have this problem?

on a side note I am in exactly the same situation with the Friday the 13th (and Godfather) films....very irritating.

The so called 'complete' "Halloween" box set has a butchered version of the excellent (SO THERE!!) "Halloween 3". Which makes you wonder what the critics comm track is going to be like!

They are the same as the single releases.

Yes. It's the exact same release, right down to the commentary. It's just being distributed by a different company it seems.

What is cut out of part III?? And why would they omit part VI and leave in H20?? Just a mind bogalling question is all.

Well what used to be cut out was all the gore.
No head being ripped off, no lasered open mouth, no drill death, no skull/eyeball crushing death in the hospital.

Whether this is cut the same, as it used to be cut, i do not know. I just know it's a censored verison. So the chances are it's the same old censored version that removes basically everything.
