I've been curious about this movie for a while, as I'm obsessed with cults and with Jonestown.
Any input on this movie?

Not bad. A little slow, but some creepy moments. If you like movies dealing with cults, this is a good one. This movie is similar to ANOES Part 3. I give it 3/5 stars.

It wasn't that bad. It is similar to the NOES movies, and Richard Lynch makes a creepy villian.

If you like ANOES, Bruce Abbott or Jennifer Rubin, you'll like it.

I really enjoyed this movie. Very over the top, with a bizarre twist (I didn't see it coming because it was so preposterous). Some real nice gore moments in it too. Check it out.

Anchor Bay has this scheduled next year...
Wasnīt this movie made famous after a viewer torched himself outside the cinema or something??
I also read somewhere that Richard "Harris"Lynch sat himself on fire on an acid trip in the 60īs or 70īs...
This movie is a must have...

I was very surprised by this movie and loved the heck out of it.
Its also very similar to Poltergeist II and Lord of Illusions two great films about a crazy religious cults.

Going to buy this film. I met Jennifer Rubin last year and told her she had quite the dream theme going on. Looks like it could make for an interesting viewing. The whole cult suicide thing reminds me of the Jonestown massacre. Looking forward to seeing this one soon. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

VERY underrated. The characters are quite likable though somewhat underwritten (what, he fell in love with her THAT quickly?), the gore is tremendous, and Richard Lynch plays a horror villain that, much like Horace Pinker, deserved the chance to be explored and developed more in future movies...

This was probably the 1st R horror movie I remember seeing at my uncle's house when it had just premiered on Showtime. After seeing the "red band R" trailer on youtube, I'm still shocked at how this didn't scare me when I was 8 years old.

I like this one, one of my favorites. Richard Lynch always scares the shit out of me. But, I like him and he was the best choice to be modeled after Blade in The Puppet Master series.
Jennifer Rubin is cool. Cults are Creepy. When I went on this Haunted Height Street Tour last Halloween we saw the place Jones lived in before that Jonestown stuff happened. 900 people died that day. Damn. Freaky!
