View Full Version : Redskins lose, Kerry wins.
Just something I found a little humorous, and a little weird.
Claim: The outcome of Washington Redskins home football games has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936.
Status: True.
On 31 October 2004, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Redskins in Washington, 28-14, which — if the established pattern holds true — predicts that Democratic challenger John Kerry will unseat incumbent President George W. Bush in the upcoming presidential election.

Personal preferences aside, it's going to be extremely interesting to see who gets the White House. With the Redskins losing in the same year that has the Red Sox (finally) winning, it's a little eerie, especially with a full lunar eclipse thrown in. Both sports wins are supposed to portend Kerry's victory. What were the odds that they would both happen in the same year?
It'll be really insane when the Nickleodeon and Weekly Reader demographics start rioting in the streets. :p
Can't wait til Wednesday!

I sure hope to God this trend holds out for at least one more election! If so, I couldn't think of another reason to be proud of my hometown's team (Go Packers!).
Only thing is...with all the election bullshit going on, I sure hope we know for sure by Wednesday! :p

About the same as the odds of Curt Schilling showing up at a Bush campaign rally...wait a minute...

I voted Kerry so I am hopin for the best if he does not get it at least I had my say who I wanted because Bush irks the HELL out of me in reference to his performance overall for the past 4 years and the way he adresses himself on camera and to the media......
