Just picked up the 8" Universal Monsters dioramas at a Suncoast Video last night. $15 bucks a piece, but well worth it. There are three in all: Bride of Frankenstein (with Frankie bound in his seat by chains - a button moves his arms and 'breaks' the chains). Dracula (although not sure why they colored the inside of his cape red when all the other features on all three toys are made to look black and white). And finally, my favorite, the WolfMan - with a graveyard base and interchangeable Larry Talbot features.

Makes a great addition to any Classic Monster fan's collection. Not sure how long they've been available - these were the last three left at the store I went to, so get 'em while you can I guess. I missed out on the big Universal Monster revival of a few years ago, so these are the first real additions to my collection other than the superb Legacy Collection DVD's that came out this year.

What's in your Universal Monster toy collection?

I just picked up The Bride of Frankenstein figure at toysrus. The Dracula figure looks kinda of dumb with the red inside the cape. I added the Dracula and wolfman figures to my christmas list.

My wife loves Universal horror films. I bought her the Universal Monsters' chess set for her birthday. She loved it. We still play on it today.
