I know it never matter once Bush got to 254 and Kerry 252, but what the hell happened in Iowa and NM?

Still too close to call, but last time I read, both were in favor of Bush by just a few thousand votes.

Unfortunately, it seems we indeed HAVE forgotten about IA and NM, reason being that neither state held enough electoral votes to push either candidate over the top. It's lame, and insulting, but true. All eyes were on OH, and nothing was going to change that.

CNN said today that Iowa declared Bush the winner. New Mexico is still being counted.

Apparently, New Mexico is also done counting, with Bush taking it as well.
