- What does it mean to say that a movie (or it's plot) is contrived?
- What does it mean to say that a movie is pretentious?
- What is an existensial comedy?

1)It means that the movie is calculated or planned and not natural.
2)It claims to be better than others around, when it's merits are not deserved.
3)I have no idea

What does it mean to say that a movie went into "autopilot" at the end?

I believe that's just when a film hits the basic storyline formula which means all creativity and dynamics in the story have ceased.

The good guy gets with the girl, they kiss, and ride off into the sunset.

And the badguy dies, or rises from the grave right before the credits roll.


Oh, and if you battled a monster or dinosaur or something, you will see its eggs or babies by the end too.
