I don't know why I'm bothering writing a mini-review of this movie. It's so unremarkable, that I have no choice but to make a remark about it. Produced by Roger Corman, The Terror Within is a lifeless Alien facsimile with one-twentieth of the budget. The creature suit is insupposably cheap, the characters are constructed out of styrofoam, and the pace is prepatent. On the roseate side of things, the gore is fun and the acting is solid (!). While this b-mess does have an inexplicable charm to it, it's not even worth a rental. Well, this thread should sink to the bottom of the page in no time.

Hey, what can you expect? Roger Corman is the grand Guignol master of Z-level films...though he has been known to make one good film or two.

I specially enjoyed his Frankenstein Unbound, and would give anything to see it on DVD. It has some solid performances and good actors wich really cought me off guard for a Corman directed/produced flick.

As for The Terror Within, sounds like it can be piled in the same category as the Carnosour flicks, in other words cheap ass rip off, looking to make a quick buck.

I saw this flick when I was either 10 or 11(the golden ages to watch horror). I rented it with my cousins along with Puppet Master 4&5, and Pet Sematary 1&2. I remember liking it, but I was at the age where if it was horror I liked it. I also remeber the creature kind of resembling Pumpkinhead.

There isn't much resemblance to Pumpkinhead. Pumpkinhead makes "The Terror" look like a sock puppet constructed out of compacted fecal matter.

It's been along time(10 years maybe). All i remembered was they were both tall, lanky, hairless, and had claws.
