Aside from being CUTE as all hell... this girl is a comic diva in the making.

Her comedic timing, and ability are awesome. She's got solid acting chops, but it's clear that comedy is where she's hanging her hat.

I watched "Big Fat Liar" on a whim one day, and it reminded me of just how bright she is. I used to watch her show (The Amanda Bynes Show), and actually dug most of the bits. Childish yea, but hey... isn't that the best humor? And considering she was on the writing staff (although mostly uncredited) at 14... yea... she's no dummy.

It's also GREAT to see she hasn't gone the route of her "peers" Hilary Duff (lousy singing) and Linsey Lohan (slutty/lousey singing). From all accounts, she's down to earth, level headed, and really sweet.

Now, I'm hoping she gets out of the "teen role" thing, and broadens her scope little by little.

She's alright. I liked her in Big Fat Liar. What a Girl Wants was not a good movie, but she was ok in it. She's decent in her current tv show What I Like About You. A show that I don't really care for (though I'll admit it's occasionally amusing) but it's far from the worse sitcom on television.

And she's not too hard on the eyes either.

I'll give her a mild yay.

Actually she used to be pretty when she looked like the picture above, but this season she has lost so much weight that it looks terrible. Hope she's not sick.

Yay - She's the kind of "late teen/early 20s" actress Lindsay should be. She seems really sweet and I think she'll succeed where the Lohans and Olsens have failed. She's one of the few actresses younger than me that doesn't annnoy me.

She's a wholesome looking cutie pie too. :)

I havent watched much with her but she seems goofy but not in the annoying Jenny McCarthy way. Feet ugly as sin but she is BEAUTIFUL so I would live with it.

Nowadays she kind of annoys me, but I really, really liked the gal (hell, I had a major crush on her back then too!) in her All That & Nickolodien period and thought she had terrific comedic timing and abilities. Not a great "actress", but she's likable.

A mild yay for nostalgic reasons.

She did that one movie recently were she dressed up as a dude - and that was her image perception in my mind to begin with.

Much respect for not treading the down hill path of Lohan and the Olsen twins, but the only films I have to judge her by are 'She's the Man', which frankly offended me (loved the orignal play) and 'Robots' which was such a waste of talent (Ewan McGregor, go back to those Danny Boyle films) and time.

Never seen her until Hairspray. She's certainly cute (and having her suggestively sucking on a lolly in pretty much every shot didn't hurt either) but she's yet to convince me as an actress. However I was surprised by her singing voice which I hadn't expected to be any good, given that she only gets to sing in the last 20 minutes or so of the film.

I agree, Amanda is funny in 'Big Fat Liar' and was good on her own show and 'All That'. I haven't seen her in anything recently but she is still pretty cute and definitely has that comedic timing down. It will be interesting to see how she adapts to being an adult in Hollywood.
