Female soldiers banned from G-strings

From correspondents in Jerusalem
November 10, 2004

A hard-nosed Israeli army officer at a base near Tel Aviv has banned young women soldiers from wearing skimpy G-string underwear, the Maariv daily reported.

"Only my wife has the right to wear a G-string," the officer told the soldiers.

He did not say how the army would be checking whether the order had been followed.

Wow? "Only my wife has the right to wear a G-string" . Where does he get off with that type of thinking? Funny (bizarre) story.

Never mind that terrorists are crossing over our borders...let's ban butt floss!

At first it seems odd, but it makes sense.

why would a soldier need to wear a g-string?
It doesn't seem practical.

But actually, that doesn't seem to be the man's reasoning.

What about T-backs, thongs, and teardrops?

More importantly, what about edible underwear? MMMM! Snacks between missions!

Are they really having a problem with female soliders in G-strings distracting male soliders? Or is this officer just sexually repressed (marital problems perhaps) and needs to find a hooker real fast?

Oh yeah, G-strings. That's what's letting suicide bombers in.

I don't get the man's reasoning, though. Are the soldiers his daughters or mistresses? Because if not, why the hell does he compare their butt floss to his wife's?

Jeez. :)

No, and I get the impression it's not the entire Israeli army, just this one part of under his command.
