Mind blowing. It especially saddens me when I click on the various links to compare to other ways that same money could be spent.
So much for conservatism I guess.

Bush is not a true conservative, why don't people get it. True conservatives should be fiscally wise and in favor of a smaller government (which includes not doing shit to prevent gays from marrying). In this day and age, the true, good hearted conservatives are libertarians.

Bush signed an $800 billion debt limit hike, so we can afford to, um.... go into debt for this.

No i meant the debt, from our budget and fighting in Iraq. THe majority of the debt is held by foreign entities. Domestic debt just gets circulated back into the economy, foreign debt gets taken out, which will burden future generations. Usually its around 3-6%, but now i've heard numbers around 90%.
