Julia Roberts in ERIN BROCKOVICH gets my vote. I hate to be like most people or just pick her. But I truly loved her in that movie and Erin Brockovich is in my top ten favorite films. Yes she played a real woman, but she really did seem real and I loved the interactions between her and the kids and George and Ed. They were very realistic and so true and all. Can't explain it.

I still have to see Sex, Lies, and Videotape and I really need to re-watch Traffic (I think Benicio Del Toro's was very overrated in that movie). That in mind, my choice is...

Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich. I actually think she deserved all the recognition for that performance.

I personally love Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney in OUT OF SIGHT. Probably not the best (that would go to Roberts as Erin Brockovich or Del Toro in TRAFFIC), but without a doubt my favourite.
