Anyway, what do you people think of the musical comedian that is "Weird" Al Yankovic?

Personally, I think he's hilarious!Yes, he does mostly use the music of other bands and I've bitched about that before, but the things he does to the lyrics is just so fun its stomach-churning! Listen to "Constipated"(Avril Lavigne - Complicated) on and you'll see! :)

I used to like Al when I was ten, and I respect the guy now but I sort of outgrew his music. Headline News is still a damn good tune and a hilarious video though.

In a way, one can blame every other artist for the deteriorating quality of Weird Al songs lately. They just don't provide him with good satire material! :p Or maybe that's a good thing, so he can go back to writing songs like "Dare to be stupid"?

IMO, you gotta take time to listen to the lyrics to get Weird Al (Not saying that any of you don't, but still), the music is often just reiteration of other songs.

I used to like him alot when I was younger, naturally I don't much listen to him anymore, but I still respect him. For a great, original song that you can appreciate at any age, try the epic(epic for a comedy song, its like 10 minutes or something) "Albequerqe"(sp?).
