I hate these teen horror shit flicks shot in two days with the only purpose to make some money. I mean didn't they bother to put ANY thought into it.

Urban Legend (i refuse to watch the sequel)
I Still Know...(should've known better)
Final Destination (don't quite hate it,but...)

And other films:

The Mimic
The Mummy (ok, but hello...)
Toys
Entrapment
Beverly Hillbillies (isn't comedy supposed to be funny)
Almost anything by Sly Stallone (especially in the 80's...WTF was Cobra supposed to be about anyway?)
Speed 2
Wild Things
Final Descent aka. Final Ascent (I don't know has anyone else seen this, but if you see it, don't get it)
The Last Witness aka. Caracara (the only purpose of this film was to show Natasha Henstriges tits for a few seconds, awful film)
Species & Species 2 (look above)
Jungle 2 Jungle (the french original was SOOO much better)
Lost in Space
The Avengers
Blade Runner (awfully overrated)

By no means a complete list but here's a bottom 5 to avoid.

A few from other lists I'd like to defend (marks out of 10)

Why do you hate The Sixth Sense so much? I mean, to no like it is one thing. But why do you hate it so much that you feel the need to mention it four times?

As for the sequels thing, gotta disagree there. How about The Godfather: Part II? Aliens? The Silence of the Lambs?

I'm usually not offended by movies that are supposed to be bad or campy or fun, like CHARLIE'S ANGELS. Although I found it pretty stupid and a waste of combined talent, it didn't piss me off as much as movies with forced sentimentality, hoping to wring emotions from its audience memebers.

The two worst offenders:
PAY IT FORWARD
WHAT DREAMS MAY COME

I would rather watch PATCH ADAMS again, and that's not saying much!

What is American Beauty, Hannibal, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Se7en, Almost Famous and Edward Scissorhands doing on these lists? These are some of my all-time favorite films. Hmmm, just goes to prove that everybody has different tastes.

Fair enough.
But, OMG! Bluntman, how the hell can you call American Beauty a shit film?!?! What would you say is better than this?? Prob something like Dude, Where's My Oscar! Fair enough, you may not have liked it and I respect your opinion but you CAN'T call this film shit. In no way WHATSOEVER is this a shit film! The directing, the acting, the script, the dialogue, the originality, the creativity and everything else in this movie is TOP NOTCH! I think you're just calling it a shit movie because you simply didn't enjoy it, which means you must have NOT been watching this open-minded. This is a serious movie although it has its humourous moments. But you CANNOT tell me that this movie is shit and if you're going to then at least explain WHY!
And if it's because you don't like movies that revolve around REAL LIFE cos they scare because this is how life really is!!!

It also makes me sad to see movies like:

American Beauty
Se7en
Taxi Driver
The Sixth Sense
Almost Famous
Hannibal

on some peoples lists because these are classics.

You sound offended in this reply to The Other. I have no idea why, as not only was his comment not directed towards you, but he didn't say anything to suggest that you are wrong for not liking these movies.

If you want him to respect your opinion, then you should respect his. And his is that American Beauty, Se7en and Edward Scissorhands are great movies.

These are my top five hate films, and hate them with a passion I do, loathe these films -- these films are my shit intensified.

5. Mod Squad
4. Little Nicky
3. Bicentennial Man
2. Legally Blonde
1. Billy Madison - the most awful film I have ever seen, Sandler should be shredded to death by a pack of wolves for this eternally awful effort -- I made my sick granpa watch it and I regret that forever. Kill the body and the head will die.

Summer Of Sam was a poorly acted, extremely dull, and sensationalized account of the Son of Sam that just didn't work for me. I give it a D+.

The Blair Witch Project , I must admit gave me the only headache I have ever recieved from watching a movie. That is the reason I hate it so much. D+

Bully was a disgustingly perverted and glamorized take on a very unfortunate incident. The director could have made a stirring film about the murder but instead decided to make a half baked quasi porno with the murder as a backdrop. The film should have made me feel sad and shook up but instead it made me feel like a major pervert. D-

And since you ragged on those 3 choices ;), I'd like you to defend yourself on:

Wag The Dog
The Story Of Us
and
Charlie's Angels

all good flicks in my eyes!! :)

Pray for me, too, Notch. I didn't see what was so great about it either. It's not that I loathed it...I just didn't think it was spectacular.

ok, i am pretty sure people will disagree with me, but please, don't be mean to me just becuase of my choices...i am really a nice person (ha ha that was supposed to be funny)

american beauty - i don't know what all the hype was...i just thought it was super boring and i didn't care about ONE character...
baby genuises - it was a MISTAKE that i saw this...A BAD ONE
rocky horror picture show - i guess i will just NEVER get it
get over it - do i have to explain?
half past dead - never wanted to exit out of a movie screaming so bad in my entire life
hannibal - um...NO
dances with wolves - i am sure a lot of people will bag on me cause of this (and i ask you not to be mean) but i have my reasons
40 days and 40 nights - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
blair witch 2 - i liked the first, but this one was trying way too hard to be better then the first and it STUNK
the water boy - i am sorry, i just didn't laugh once
mr. deeds - i love adam sandler, but this was bad
crossroads - i liked everything BUT britney spears...isn't that bad?
the haunting - thats the one with liam neeson right? boring!
pocahontas - ERG
CLERKS - over rated, and overly hyped
tomb raider - was this supposed to be action? cause it was boring
the avengers - just bad
bride of chucky - what were they thinking?
swimfan - hell no
fear dot com - i had no fear......
halloween ressurection - more laughs then anything else...NOT SCARY
batman and robin - i WANTED to walk out...why didn't i?
scream three - this one just killed it
mission impossible 2 - love the first one, hated this one...
arlington road - never hated an ending more then this movie....
glitter - forced by friend to watch, made fun of the whole time (there are lots of things to laugh at at this "serious" movie)
tcm:the next generation - what was i thinking?
here on earth - god, why would anyone pick chris klein over josh hartnet? erg....
sweet november - i should have guessed it was a bad movie when i was the only person in the theatre
say it isn't so - chris klein bugged the heck outta me in this one!

Just like Jason Voorhees, I didn't hate it. I just don't see the hype. It was a fine little movie. But definitely nothing spectacular. Better than average, but nothing more.
