Looks like Malick has another solid flick on his hands.

I agree, it did look a little Alexander-ish at times with Farrell's look and the eagle. It didn't really do much on the film itself, I thought it was going to show something of the Smith/Pocahontas thing, and maybe some Christian Bale. It does sound like it could be good, but had I not known much, this wouldn't of enticed me.

I loved 'the thin red line' (definitelly the best war movie 4 me) and this movie looks likes 'dances with wolves' meets 'the thin red line'.
the teaser itself could maybe be more (like Bale's face and some talkin) but overall i like this teaser: nice shots and nice music and it 'teases' beautifully to see more (which a teaser is all about)
i'm definitelly gonna see this; Colin is a very good actor and like i said, The Thin red Line was a beautiful movie; very slow pace in that movie wich i love

looked interesting til I saw the name Terence Malick and wanted to go hide. A friend made me s it through Thin Red Line, an experience i dont feel like doing again

I loved this trailer and i can't wait for this movie to come out
Terence Malick is one of my favorite directors and i love all of his movies ( which is only 3 ) I only wish he would make more movies, he averages making about one movie every 8 years

It's amazing how well known Terrence Malick is with only three movies under his belt.

As for The New World, look for it to be the most anticipated film for me very soon. It looks wonderful, like any Malick film. He has one of the best styles out there.

hey, this looks good to me. I think Colin needs to redeem himself after the horrible Alexander.

I Thought the Thin Red Line was horribly overrated but i might check this out if the running time is less than four and a half hours...

I hated the Thin Red Line. But this actually looks very good. I'll check it out.

...nothing enticing about this trailer.

Seems like they're really scraping the bottom of the barrell for historical epics. Uggh.
