Wow! This teaser is great, absolutely breathtaking. This is so Spielberg, it gave me a "what if" Close Encounters had gone the other way around kind of vibe. The part where everyone is standing in the street watching a battle take place in the distance gave me chills. I can’t freakin’ wait!

I don't think he's doubting that it will be big, but just the question over whether its bigness will be bigger than some other film's bigness, such as STAR WARS Ep 3, or perhaps BATMAN BEGINS, or even SIN CITY. This teaser is a big "meh" from me. I mean, I like the direction Spielberg is taking the story, but that teaser was, to me, just a tad bit disappointing. I guess all I wanted to see were the aliens, but whatever...that's probably why they call it a "teaser", huh...

It was pretty cool. Not great, but cool. Definately gets me excited for it so it definately did it's job as a teaser. Still looking forward to an actual trailer though.

This teaser looks awesome. Spielberg is my favorite director and although I've found his last few movies to be decent but not amazing (Catch me, Terminal), this one looks like it has potential to put him back on the map. I was a huge fan of the underrated AI, and I am curious what magic he will be able to work with this sci-fi film. It's possibly my most anticipated movie of 2005.
