i'm going to have to go w/ Myers in Halloween 2. the masks are almost exactly a like but if you notice Myers has these cold white hands in 2 that add a lot to his spookiness. very cool. i really dislike the masks from 4 & up. what's your favorite look?

I think Michael Myers' best look will always be his first appearance in the original. But, if I were to comment outside of the first movie, I really like his look in "Halloween: Resurrection." By that point, Michael is getting older, but he is still the same `ol Boogeyman he's always been. The mask used in that one, in its own weird fantastic way, reflects that, what with its smooth, yet wrinkly lines within it. That mask is the most memorable Halloween mask, next to the William Shatner one in the original.

I have a theory on Michael's mask collection. Over the years, the masks he would wear in each film, in a sense, relfected Michael and the times. I won't be able to describe these masks perfectly, after all I'm not THAT obsessed with the H-films, but I here go.

-In "Halloween," he wore a regular smooth mask (that just so happened to be a Captain Kirk Mask spray painted white, lol). He was young, out of the "slammer," and was ready to start his work.
-In HII, despite being a direct follow up to the first, the mask is obvioulsy a different one. It's smooth, but has a few wrinkles. After so much trouble during the first part of that night, he was still not done, for this is only the beginning...
-In H4, Michael is wearing a super smooth mask. Although he's been out of it for a decade, he's back like never before to continue his work and nothing is going to stop him. If you were to get more into it, Michael noticably has scars on his hands, after miraculously surviving the explosion in HII. A nice little touch.
-H5...ugly, ugly, ugly mask...to an ugly, ugly, ugly film. It's almost as if Michael is aware of the crapfest he's in and just can't get down with it.
-In H6, the mask is a like half smooth and half wrinkly, something like that. By now, he, is starting to considerably age. I would consider the mask kind of weird looking...in a weird H-movie. no doubt this is an often debated chapter in Michael's saga.
-In H20, Michael is back to the basics with a mask that is smoother than the last few previous masks. He's back in the game, back after long lost sister, and he made sure he would look his best for it. The scars on his hands are also gone, but that is another story for another thread.
-Finally, "Resurrection." Michael has found himself a new mask, a particularly smooth one with nice touches of wrinkles within it. I think it reflects Michael really well by this stage in the game. He is, no doubt, getting older (he's 45 by now), but he is still there, taking care of some annoying internet teens in his childhood home, right after taking care of his sister. By now, he's had it and is wondering when he will be finished with this game. He still has to go after his nephew, John Tate (and not to mention Kara Strode, Danny Strode and his own son, Stephen, if Moustapha Akkad will let him remember them).

i think he looked best in the original film before they went too far with the character

I say first and second because the first had a dark empty expression on it and the second had the dirty look like he's been through everything

I need a picture of each to tell you. I don't remember them well enough seperately.

Definitely the first. When he finishes killing Linda and listens to Laurie on the other end of the phone that shot of his mask up close is the best I've seen out of any of them.

Its the first for all the obvious reasons with the 2nd in second place.

They could just never get the mask right since then.

It's a tie between for the first and second for me. Hated the one for 4 and 5
