More like Ben Hur. The MP poster was probably intended as a parody of the Ben Hur poster.

But I like this. It has a nice retro vibe, but still looks modern and cool as hell.

i think the poster is awful, does not compliment the movie at all, its really cheesy, i find it hard to take the movie serious after seeing that

i like the use of the stone block lettering towering above. suggests an epic and mighty feel to the whole project.

as for the lack of any characters on the poster and just the Life of Bryan esque writing this film does not need to show you who's in it, its War of the Worlds, you dont need to say or do anything to draw more people into the theatre enmass to watch this!!!
