Hong Kong action hero Chow Yun-Fat is set to star in the upcoming sequels of box office smash Pirates of the Caribbean, a press report said. sounds good, now we can only hope that they can seal the deal with Keith Richards

This movie does need some cool characters besides Johnny to make it work. Chow Yun-Fat is a great choice..dunno about Keith Richards but at least it's something different

Great to hear... This could be really good for the franchise. :D
I agree with what seems to be the consensus so far; good move.

Thats news that flew out of left field. Hope his acting is as over the top and fun as Rush and Depp.
I've been an admirer of Chow Yun Fat since Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, so this is definately great news, and makes me a load more excited for the sequels.

Interesting choice and I like it, I hope he can hold his own agasint Johnny Depp (and maybe Rush) for the sequels and by that I mean over the top as APzombie stated.
Just imagine, a crazy Chinese-Pirate slashing swords with Johnny Depp's over the top Jack Sparrow (thats if hes a villian but if he isn't I still wanna see that happen).
