I don't think there's a law that says you have to buy them as soon as they come out. Just spread those purchases over a certain period of time that makes it affordable.

The problem is, if you're like me, I buy a lot of my movies from Best Buy and they're on sale the first 4 or so days and if I wait then I end up paying as much as an extra $5. For instance, had I waited on ROTK EE, I would have payed an extra $7.

Good point, though in that case you should just get the ones that have the best discount attached to them.

I'm lucky, one of my local used DVD places always has "used" new releases usually by Thursday after they are released.

I got Collateral and Bourne Supremacy just days after they were released for $9.99 each.

They have Van Helsing, I, Robot and Spider-Man 2 also.

...and that's a bad thing because? I like it because there's plenty of films for me to watch, up until these big tuesdays, it's been a slow DVD rls year (in my opinion)

That's true. If I want a New release I buy it that Tuesday. Because by Saturday it goes off sale and the price jumps up 5 to 6 dollars more.
I use to buy my dvds at Best Buy but my wife works for Target for the last year and a half and we get 10% employee discount so I buy all my dvds there now. She buys them on Tuesday when shes leaving work.

I bought 4 dvds for Christmas. We are saving them for the holidays to watch. New Years Eve we usually make dinner and watch a double feature.

The Bourne Supremacy
Collateral
I,Robot
King Arthur

next week - Resident Evil: Apocoplypse
