NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOO!!!!!!
(no offense intended, I just never thought I'd see the day when someone prefered Starship over Airplane)
Anyone, back to the thread:
AC/DC: I mostly agree with Frank the Tank when he says they're overrated/overplayed, but I love their first album. All of the tracks except TNT and Long Way to the Top are practically unknown, and most of them are great. So, my choice would be Little Lover, a great fromt their first album, High Voltage.
Rage Against The Machine: Sleep Now in the Fire
Publice Enemy: Don't really like them (they're better than almost all other rap groups though), but Spike Lee uses Fight the Power in a pretty cool way in Do the Right Thing.
The Cars- My Best Friend's Girl
The Smashing Pumpkins- 1979.

Blink 182: "Adam's Song"
Team Sleep: Who?
Marilyn Manson: "The Beautiful People"
The Offspring: "Come Out & Play (Keep 'Em Seperated)"
Limp Bizkit: Hate 'em.
A Perfect Circle: "3 Libras"
Frank the Tank's (Part 2):
Joy Division - "Love Will Tear Us Apart"
Johnny Cash - "Hurt" (yes, I know it's a NIN cover...)
Rage Against The Machine - "Killing in the Name"
Public Enemy - "By the Time I Get to Arizona", I guess. Haven't heard much by them, though.
Wu-Tang Clan - "Shame on a N***a"
Pantera - "Walk"
Melvins - haven't heard anything by them.
The Pixies - "Where Is My Mind?"
(and by the way, Frank, might I just say that your taste in music fucking rocks?)
Following that, I think I'll list some more of mine, too, that I don't think I've noticed mentioned yet:
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Dream Theater
Guns N' Roses
Primus
Beastie Boys

Well now you have, but I can't believe no one here has heard of Cracker.
Anyone? You don't have to like them. Just anyone tell me if you've heard of them. They were big in the 90's.
Here are a few more to add.
Tears For Fears

Toad The Wet Sprocket
Frank the Tank

Thanks Neo for the compliment, thankfully someone appreciates my somewhat unique taste. You'd probably like The Melvins a lot. They are very influenced by Sabbath. Pick up Stag, Ozma, Houdini, Stoner Witch, and Their self titled. All great albums by a underrated band.

Anyone? You don't have to like them. Just anyone tell me if you've heard of them. They were big in the 90's.
How could anyone forget "Low"? Or... um... another song they did. I haven't dove deeper into their catalogue, but I hear it isn't bad.

John Mayer: Dreaming With a Broken Heart (lyrically), I Don't Trust Myself With Loving You (musically)
Aerosmith: Love in an Elevator
Yellowcard: don't like this band at all, but i can stand "Breathing"
Creed (now Alterbridge minus Scott Stapp): again, hate this band....."Bullets" and "My Own Prison" are about all I can take.
Linkin Park: New album is awful, but Hybrid Theory will always be great (i was in high school and had relatively poor musical taste at the time, and it still has a soft spot for me)...."Pushing Me Away" is my fav. off that album
Our Lady Peace: Superman's Dead, Is Anybody Home?
Live: Man, I wish they hadn't gone all religious and sappy. "Throwing Copper" was one of the best albums of the 90s. "Shit Towne", "Iris", "Lakini's Juice" and "Sparkle" are my favs.
Pearl Jam: "Off He Goes", "Dissident", "Once"

The Doors: "People are Strange"
Steely Dan: "F.M."
King Crimson: "One More Red Nightmare", "Fallen Angel"
Lenny Kravitz: "Are You Gonna Go My Way"
The Yardbirds: only know "For Your Love"
Santana: man...almost everything from his early years. "Jingo", "Everything is Comin' Our Way", but i'd say "Hope You're Feeling Better" is his best.
Garbage: blah
The Sneaker Pimps: I know i've heard one song and liked it, but I can't remember it.
