Just when I thought my top ten list was sealed for this year this beautifully crafted album put together by the very very talented Dan the automator and Prince Paul jumped into my collection. Everything Dan the Automater touches is solid gold. Some examples: The previous Handsome Boy modeling school album, Deltron 3030, The Gorrilaz, Nathaniel merriweather presents music to make love to your old lady by, and of course the infamous Dr. Octagon. The man is a genius and he's proven it. Now he just went above his own set shining standard with one of the best hip hop collaborations I've ever heard. Some of the artists Prince Paul and him brought on board: The Mars Volta, Cat Power, Rza, Del the funky homosapien, Julee Cruise, Jack Johnson, and many more... Those are some pretty heavy hitters and when they all blend together seamlessly into a well crafted hip hop record it's more than a music lover could even hope for.

Check this album out!

Price Paul AND the RZA? Ummm, can you say "Gravediggaz"?

Sounds good!

I`ve never even heard any of this band`s music ( but I`ve heard OF them). What are they like?

P.S. - The name "Handsome Boy Modeling School" is from the Chris Elliot TV show "Get A Life".

Well they are pretty much a blend of all sorts of different artists from all over the music spectrum like Mike Patton, Chan Marshall from cat power, The Mars Volta, John Oats, Del the funky homosapien, Jack Johnson, Rza etc... and they are all put together and blended in with some fantastic back beats by Dan the Automator. Along the way are plenty of "ladies Man" skits by TIm Meadows as well. You just have to hear it to see what it's like :)
